Finally did something from Pinterest...

I've been poking around on Pinterest lately, pinning some things that I should cook (or really that my mom should cook for me when she comes down), things that I could make, do, etc. Well I finally did one for our anniversary. The idea was something like this:

Get a balloon for each year of marriage, and put a memory hanging from it. The example on pinterest was this...

I decided that I could pull that off. So while Jeff and Ian were in Florida Rowan and I made a trip to party city. I found heart shaped balloons in colors similar to our wedding, a light teal and lavender, so I got seven of them. We also picked up a Welcome home balloon for daddy and Ian and an Elmo balloon for Rowan.


As I'm getting Rowan into the van, along with all the balloons, he is having a little fit about wanting his Elmo balloon in the van and before I know it...up and away goes one of my heart balloons. So, upon Jeff's arrival home (he was in FL on our actual anniversary) he found 6 memory balloons instead of 7. Such is the life of parents of a busy boy...It still turned out pretty nice though:
(we don't usually have a teddy bear on the bed, but he has a story too. When we were dating that bear was ordered by Jeff to be delivered to me at school, but they had the wrong zip so it went to the wrong city, so he had to go pick it up and deliver it himself. That is why the bear is with the balloons here.)
