Our Green Thumbs

When Rowan's class read about and discussed gardening this spring, he became very excited about growing some vegetables. Since we have a big rabbit problem, we decided to just plant a few bean and carrot seeds in a garden box on our deck. Tonight we picked some. I don't know what Rowan was expecting when he pulled up a carrot, but the look on his face was great. His comment, "It's too dirty!"
