Moving up the ranks

Last night at the Boy Scout Court of Honor Ian was awarded his three ranks he earned over the summer, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, plus two merit badges, fingerprinting and environmental science. He has a few other badges in the works, first aid, fire safety, reading, scholarship, and, thanks to Grandpa taking him to gun safety training, rifle and shotgun shooting. He'll get those soon. We also signed him up for three camps for this coming year (so far)...Fall Camporee this month, SnowBase winter camping (January), and once again Tesomas Camp, which he loved (next June). What does this mean for you, family??? Plan on buying your Christmas wreaths and garland from Ian...he starts in October.  No popcorn sales this year, just wreaths. In addition to supporting the troop, a portion of each sale goes to Ian's scout account. This will help pay for these adventures so our family does not go bankrupt sending Ian to camp! Thanks!
